All 10 Democrats on stage in Atlanta have the background, experience and ideas necessary to defeat Donald Trump. This election, however, won't come down to who sounds best on stage. It will be decided on the ground by the side that runs the most robust field program.

PCCC on Revelations That Contract Forced DNC To Get One Campaign's Approval During Primary

"When it comes to fostering trust in the DNC, the entire ballgame is the Unity Reform Commission's forthcoming proposals and whether they are strong and adopted by DNC leadership. Those proposals should include dramatically scaling back the role of unelected Super Delegates in skewing the nomination process, making primaries open to more people, making caucuses less time consuming for working families, and mandating more DNC budget transparency and oversight. A PCCC-commissioned poll, conducted by Public Policy Polling, found that Democratic and Independent voters in 2018 Senate battleground states believe the Democratic Party is fighting more for special interests while Trump is fighting for working families -- a perception that Democrats must counter in order to take back Congress in 2018.
